Deon Lendore is among 12 athletes selected to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the March 1-4 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Birmingham, England.

Lendore earned two bronze medals at the 2016 World Indoors. The US-based quartermiler finished third in the men’s 400m final. And in the 4x400m, he anchored T&T to third spot in the championship race, teaming up with Jarrin Solomon, Lalonde Gordon and Ade Alleyne-Forte for a three minutes, 05.51 seconds clocking—a new national indoor record.

Gordon is also part of the T&T squad for the 2018 World Indoors meet. Lendore will run the 400 in Birmingham, and the second individual spot in that event will go to either Gordon or Asa Guevara.
