WConnection Football Club was officially founded in January 1999 as Trinidad and Tobago welcomed its first Professional League and has been the most successful club in the fifteen (15) year existence of the domestic league. Our mission is to be a financially successful club with a strong international presence, built on team success and the development of our internal human resources and external relationships.

The foundation of the organization is built upon our motto of Discipline and Communication, and we pride ourselves on the ability to maintain the same

We have seen the club grow exponentially during our short period of existence, and have proven ourselves to be a force to be reckoned with, taking the local and regional football scene by storm, securing many championship titles which have catapulted us into spotlights, allowing us to gain international exposure and recognition

Some of our defining moments to date, include capturing the prestigious FA Trophy in our very first year of competition, and the Professional League title in our second year; taking home the First Citizen’s Cup title six times (5 in a row) in its eight (8) year history; the transfer of our former youth player Kenwyne Jones to Southampton FC of the English Premier League (EPL) at the time of transfer, who went on to be signed by Sunderland FC also of the EPL; and defeating Mexican football giants Chivas FC 2 – 1 with ten (10) players in the first leg of our 2007 CONCACAF Club Championships campaign.

2009 was an especially important year for the organization as it represented our tenth year anniversary of existence as a fully professional outfit. Our aim was to capture many titles and add to our silverware as much as possible. We have been successful thus far capturing the TT Pro League Lucozade Goal Shield title in its inaugural year, as well as being crowned the Caribbean Football Union’s Caribbean Club Champions for the fourth time in six years of competing.

This success was the catalyst by which we participated in the prestigious CONCACAF Champions League where we qualified into the highly competitive group stage, competing against the likes of the New York Red Bulls (USA), Pumas UNAM (Mexico), Real Espana (Honduras) and Comunicaciones (Guatemala). We have once again qualified for the Caribbean Football Union’s Club Championship 2012 and 2013 Tournament which represents the qualifying phase for the CONCACAF Champions League.

Over the last fifteen (15) years, the organization has experienced growth and success unsurpassed by any other club in the league. WConnection FC has proven itself to be good corporate citizens, developing and encouraging growth amongst the youth. Apart from being well known nationally, we have also established a strong home base in the south/central region, fostering ties in the community.
